The chart below shows the amount of energy generated from wind in four countries from 1985 to 2000. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. 





The bar chart compares the wind energy generation in four countries, India, Denmark, Germany, and, therefore, the US between 1985 and 2000.

Overall, initially, the US  lead in wind energy production, but with time all the countries except the US showed substantial growth in wind energy production. Also, Denmark encountered the foremost significant increase among all the provided countries.

In 1985, the US produced around 1200 megawatts of energy from wind. The wind energy production in India and therefore Denmark was almost an equivalent at 200 megawatts, and about double this amount was produced from wind in Germany. In India and Denmark, there was a considerable increase over the 15 years. In 2000, nearly 1200 megawatts were produced from wind in India, while about 1600 odd megawatts were generated from wind in Denmark.


Germany also witnessed a growth but not as significant as India and Denmark, and in 2000, its wind energy production held at about 900 megawatts. The US was an exception as its energy production increased to 1650 megawatts till 1990, but afterward, its production fell slightly by about 100 megawatts within the last five years.

The charts show the proportion of holidaymakers in one region staying in different types of accommodation in three different years. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant

  The pie charts analyze the ratio of holidaymakers from an area that used diverse types of residence in 1988, 1998, and 2008.

According to the illustration, within the first decade, just over half of holidaymakers stayed with family and friends. While the share of camping out was nearly half that with time, both these numbers dropped. In 2008, 44% stayed with family and friends, and only 12% favored camp on holidays.


By contrast, the proportion of holidaymakers renting apartments during holidays and boarding at hotels increased with time. In 1988, the minimal percentage was noticed in rented apartments, while the share of staying at hotels accounted for 15% of the holidaymakers. In 2008, the quantity stood at 22% each for both hired apartments and hotels.


Overall, the hotel became the first sort of accommodation for the bulk of the travelers within the given period of years despite most of the people’s preference to remain with a lover or relative.

The graph below shows cinema attendance by age in Great Britain. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown.

The provided linear graph represents the share of individuals of various age groups who attended the cinema from 1984 to 2003.

Overall, cinema attendance grew altogether age groups within the given period of your time. Also, generally, the adolescent age groups had a better percentage of cinema visitors than the older age groups.

From 1984 to 2003, theatre attendance rose considerably across all age groups, but the surge was the best for the 15-24 age groups, which rose from about 18% in 1984 to over 50% in 2003. Though the figures fluctuated between 1992 and 1998, this age bracket still visited the cinema quite the other age bracket.


There was also a considerable rise in cinema attendance among elderly people (35 plus). during this case, the figures increased over this era from about 2% to over 10%. Cinema attendance of 7-14 and 25-35 year-olds followed an identical pattern from 1984 to about 2002, which was characterized by some fluctuations throughout. However, from 2002 the trends differed therein 7-14-year-olds visited the cinema less frequently while cinema attendance of the 25-44-year-olds was on the rise.
